Getting Used to Having What You Want

Ironically, dreams that feel the most exciting can sometimes also be the furthest away from manifestation.

Not because something that cool can’t happen for us…

But, simply because sometimes when things feel “exciting” it’s because we think of them as rare, unusual and outside of the norm.

In cases like this, manifestation happens most easily when what we want moves from feeling super exciting to super expected.

When we become a vibrational match to what we want, and can therefore naturally and easily bring it into reality, it feels more like “the next logical step,” as Abraham would say, than a fantastical pipe dream.

Getting Used to the Idea of It

To close the vibrational gap and line up with our dream, it’s worth taking the time to get used to the idea of having what we want.

We can start by simply feeling into the specifics of what it would actually be like for our intention to manifest in the manner that would please us the most.

For example, I’m currently working on a new coaching program.

And, to help myself align with my intentions for this, I’m feeling into things like…

  • Qualities of my most ideal clients

  • What I want the system I’m sharing through my program to accomplish

  • What I want my experience of attracting clients to be like

  • How I want to show up as a coach and what I want my experience of coaching to be like

  • Specific results I want to witness my clients creating

I’m exploring my intention from various angles to both define exactly what I want and to help myself get used to the idea of manifesting it.

Telling the Story the Way You Want It To Be

My favorite way to get used to the idea of what I want is to write out a story for each of the various angles of my intention.

When doing this, I describe each aspect of my dream-come-true as if it was already happening right now. And, of course, I write the story the way I want it to be, in exactly the manner that would please me the most.

If you’d like to try something similar with your own intentions, here are a couple of questions to consider:

  • If you were already living your dream-come-true, what kinds of experiences would you be having?

  • What are all the parts of your intention that would be fun to imagine?

Once you’ve crafted the story of what you want by exploring various angles of your intention, then it’s a matter of getting used to the idea of this story coming true.

One simple way to do this is to just reread what you’ve written while really allowing yourself to feel into and imagine what it would be like to be experiencing it all as true right now.

Getting Comfy With New Creation

The more comfortable we can become with the idea of our dream coming true …

The more normal it starts to feel to see ourselves living in this new and improved version of reality…

… the more that we’re activating new vibrations that will naturally and easily create either the specific results we focus upon or something else that feels equally as good.

Love and Magic,

Adrianne
