How to Manifest Outrageous Things

One of the more interesting challenges in my life these days is waiting for my boyfriend to come down from the sky.

“Where’s Nick?”

“Up there” I shrug, pointing to the tiny, arc-shaped paraglider wing gently floating thousands of feet above my head.

Yes, Nick typically flies higher, further, and longer than I do when we go paragliding.

Therefore, often, I’m as shown in the photos below... waiting with my gear at the LZ (landing zone) squinting up at the sky trying to find his colorful wing (circled in pink in the photo on the left).

If you’d told me 10 years ago that this would become one of my “problems” in life… that I’d sometimes lose my boyfriend *in the sky* because we fly paragliders for fun… I’d say you must have me confused with someone else.

Getting involved in this crazy sport is definitely one of the most outrageous things that’s ever happened to me.

And that brings me to the topic of this email, manifesting outrageous things.

Now, let me be clear, I didn’t intentionally set out to manifest becoming a paraglider pilot.

But I do use the fact that this wild thing happened to help me manifest other, equally crazy, things.

You see, that’s the first step to manifesting the outrageous: mine the past for experience.

While you may not fly a paraglider off of mountain tops and oceanside cliffs like Nick and I do, you probably also have things in your life that at one time seemed totally outrageous but that have now become just the norm.

These are the experiences that we want to remember and use as our permission slips to believe that more outrageous dreams and desires can also come true.

Today, I'm excited to share three powerful steps for manifesting things that might currently seem outrageous, unlikely, or far-fetched.

The key lies in understanding that our perception of the outrageous is often a signal that we're not in vibrational alignment with our desires. The goal is to shift our perspective and make the extraordinary feel like the next logical step in our journey. So, let's dive into the first step.

Normalize the Outrageous

The initial step in manifesting the seemingly outrageous is to normalize it. If what we desire feels outrageous, it's an indication that we're not a vibrational match. As Abraham suggests, when something becomes our reality, it feels like the next logical step. Therefore, the challenge is to transform the outrageous into the new normal.

Step One: Mine the Past for Experience

A great way to normalize current big dreams is to mine your past for experiences where something once deemed outrageous manifested.

An example from my own life is paragliding—a sport that initially seemed unimaginable.

After all, if I've launched my body off mountains and soared thousands of feet above land, what else could I make possible?

By recalling and acknowledging past instances where the outrageous became a reality, we can build belief and recognize that our current desires are equally achievable.

Reflect on your own past experiences. What were the things that, at one point, felt outrageous but are now a regular part of your reality? Making a list of these instances will serve as a powerful tool to boost your belief in the manifestation of your current extraordinary desires.

Step Two: Affirm Your Creative Power

This step is all about reinforcing what you already believe about manifesting and understanding the incredible creative force within you.

Consider this powerful thought from Abraham: "It is as easy to create a castle as a button.” This perspective encourages us to recognize that the process of manifesting, whether big or small, follows the same fundamental principles.

By affirming this notion, we empower ourselves to view manifesting as a seamless and accessible process, regardless of the scale of our desires.

Another key aspect to affirm is your identity as source energy in a physical body. Acknowledge that you possess the same energy, power, and intelligence that govern the natural world's miraculous occurrences—be it the growth of grass or the healing of our bodies. Embracing this creative power and intelligence allows the outrageous to feel achievable, as you align with the perspective of source energy.

Additionally, remind yourself that the Universe responds to you. You are a worthy and loved creator, and life is eager to assist you in manifesting your desires. Cultivate the belief that support surrounds you, making it easier to envision and achieve your big dreams or outrageous goals. By focusing on the idea that life wants to help you, you shift your mindset toward collaboration with the universe in bringing your dreams to fruition.

As part of this step, I encourage you to create a list of your beliefs about manifesting that reinforce your creative power. What thoughts or perspectives make manifesting outlandish things feel natural and uncomplicated? By compiling this list, you'll strengthen your belief system and further align yourself with the understanding that manifesting is not an arduous task but a harmonious dance with the creative forces at play in the universe.

Step Three: Mental Rehearsal

Now that we've laid the groundwork by normalizing and affirming our creative power, let's dive into the final step: mental rehearsal. This step is the key to sealing the deal and making the outrageous feel not only possible but entirely natural in your reality.

Similar to athletes preparing for the Olympics, where they repeatedly practice their winning routines, we too can employ mental rehearsal in our manifesting journey. Creative visualization plays a crucial role here. Picture in your mind the outrageous thing you desire as if it's already happening. Embrace the scene, the emotions, and the details, cultivating the belief that it is an integral part of your daily existence.

An alternative method that I find effective is journal scripting. Write about the scene of your desired manifestation as if it's already unfolding. Capture the essence of the experience, immersing yourself in the narrative. By doing so, you condition your mind, emotions, and body to the idea that this outrageous reality is not only possible but expected.

During mental rehearsal, avoid focusing on the initial excitement or surprise of the manifestation happening today. Instead, envision it as a seamlessly integrated part of your life, as if it has been your reality all along. This shift in perspective helps normalize the outrageous, making it feel like the next logical step, just as Abraham emphasizes.

These three steps—normalizing, affirming creative power, and mental rehearsal—work synergistically to empower you in manifesting the outrageous.
