What I Saw, Did & Manifested in Australia
Last night, I baked my first loaf of pumpkin bread since returning from vacation a couple of weeks ago.
Baking pumpkin bread requires patience. Unlike making an avocado-based, raw chocolate pie (another favorite dessert), which doesn’t require any baking at all, good old pumpkin bread requires about an hour in the oven.
This got me thinking about force versus flow.
What if I tried to force my pumpkin bread to bake more quickly by turning up the temperature of my oven to the max?
It would probably burn instead of bake. I’d likely end up with a charred dough blob, instead of a lightly-crusted loaf with a warm, moist, bready interior.
What if I spent the baking hour that pumpkin bread requires feeling frustrated and upset that it was taking so long to be ready?
I might be tempted to just give up, turn off the oven, and miss out on enjoying a delicious slice of pumpkin bread smothered in coconut oil and almond butter. How sad!
While it’s easy for me to understand the ridiculousness of trying to force the manifestation of pumpkin bread, I’m afraid it hasn’t always been as easy for me to choose flow instead of force when it comes to things like business or financial manifestations.
In 2022, this was probably one of my biggest lessons, to become more discerning around whether I’m in an energy of force (which slows down or messes up manifestation) or flow (which assists, allows, and enhances manifestation).
